-Sewing machine in good working order with a zigzag stitch feature.
-Basic sewing supplies (including pins, clips, scissors, and a tape measure).
-3/16" Clothesline - 100FT (Donna used Hyper TOUGH Diamond-Braided Clothesline from Walmart in the hardware department) Note: Rope must be somewhat stiff, so your bowl/basket isn't floppy.
-Matching thread to rope (Donna used Superior So Fine 402).
-1/4-1/2 yard cotton fabric -it depends upon how much you want to wrap.
-Matching thread to fabric (Donna used an of-white background open print fabric, so she did not need to change thread.
-Fabric Fuse (glue) or White Elmer's School Glue
-Buttons (optional)
Before class:
-Cut fabric into twelve 3/4" WOF strips.
-Bring 2 fully wound bobbins of thread matching the rope and 1 fully wound bobbin matching your fabric, if different than the rope.
