Quilting: Chapter One
A preclass to discuss and choose fabric and supplies will be held prior to the class.
Basic supplies needed are sewing machine, rotary cuter & mat. rulers ( 4 1/2" square and 6"X24"), quilt pins, iron, small scissors.

| Instructor Bio: | I've been sewing since about 10 years old, everything from tablecloths to wedding gowns. My focus on quilting began around 1990 when I joined a quilt guild. Here I not only met my "tribe" but learned the "Tricks of the Trade" of quilting. I went on to serve as program chair, project chair, and quilt show chair over the years. I love teaching the skills and techniques that make quilting so much fun and sharing the lessons I have learned along the way. Quilting has become my art form, my passion, and my addiction!! What I love most about quilting is the variety. There is something for everyone from traditional piece patterns to free-form art quilts. Every quilt is a unique as it's maker!! |
